STYLE NO. 9215 : Foreman Chukka

Inspired by our rugged work boot heritage, Red Wing Shoes’ Foreman Chukkas combine a simple leather boot upper with Red Wing’s durable neoprene sole. The Foreman Chukka is a lightweight, classic-looking shoe that takes our timeless Chukka design and attaches it to our comfortable neoprene work sole. The 9215 features our premium Briar Oil Slick leather.

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE

The Foreman chukka is a lightweight shoe that takes our timeless chukka design and attaches it to our comfortable neoprene work sole. The neoprene outsole was designed to provide traction and long-wearing support for workers who spend hours on their feet and move between various terrain. This versatile sole is an ideal partner for our stylish and enduring chukka upper. This combination created the Foreman chukka, a shoe designed to work and relax both outdoors and indoors while standing up to any environment.

Oil-Tanned Leather

S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for oil-tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing’s 108+ year history.

STYLE NO. 9215 : Foreman Chukka

A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. Over time the full grain leather upper, leather footboard and cork midsole mold to your feet, creating an enduring and customized fit over time with each wear.

The 9215 is built using the No. 210 Last:

  • Was designed for increased flexibility and lighter duty work
  • Fits true to size
  • Should be sized up ½ if used with a footbed or orthotic

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful and comfortable (but narrow)! This is a very nice Chukka, the leather is stunningly good and very well made. I'm wearing these shoes now for six months with a frequency of two to three days a week. Compared to my Blacksmith 2959 it took almost no time to break them in (leather not as thick as with the Blacksmith). I have rather sensitive feet, but these I can use with thin business socks, though I prefer to have a thin insole of thin leather with cork and I feel they are really comfortable. But be careful: They run really narrow! This is really obvious when you see them side by side with other Red Wing Boots (like my Blacksmith or the Beckmann etc.). My Blacksmith feels 1 complete size wider. I love these Foremans! Btw, I have received a lot of compliments from both genders on these Chukkas, more than usual. They are really sexy. October 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect shoe for jeans I really like this shoe. I already own postman shoes and chelsea boots, but these feel like nice addition to the shoe line. These wear nice with jeans. I like the bit rough leather. The black shoe laces are fine, but some colour wouldn't hurt either. These were a bit rough, but after few weeks, they have moulded on my feet. Just Great. I wear them daily in the cold days and they are great. Nice addition to the Chukka boots line from Red Wing -shoes. June 26, 2015
