STYLE NO. 3376 : 6-inch Moc

This 6-inch lace-up boot has all the features of our iconic No. 875—Goodyear welt construction, Traction-Tred outsole and shock absorbing cork filler under the footbed—but is built on a narrower last with a smaller toe box for a better fit on women’s feet. Style 3376 features rough-out Sand Mohave leather, and is ready for a new generation of hardworking women.

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE

Nothing says, “Red Wing”, like a moc toe boot with a white polyurethane outsole. It’s a style we started making in the 1950s for sportsmen but it worked equally well on farms and in factories. The crescent-shaped stitching on the toe was inspired by the construction of the shoes, or “moccasins” originally worn by the North American Algonquin Indians. The No. 875 6-inch boot has since become an icon, loved by both men and women and now we make one specifically for the unique characteristics of a woman’s foot.

Roughout leather is a reverse suede leather made in our S.B. Foot tannery. Roughout leather is a reverse suede leather made in our S.B. Foot tannery.

Roughout Leather

Roughout leather is created using a reverse-suede technique at our very own S.B. Foot Tanning Co. While most tanneries split, thin and weaken the hide to create the rough suede surface, we simply use the other side of the hide. By doing so, we avoid splitting or thinning our full-grain hides. This makes our Roughout leather just as strong and durable as our other leathers.

STYLE NO. 3376 : 6-inch Moc

A new pair of Red Wing Women's Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. The full grain leather upper, leather covered foam footboard and cork filler create an enduring and customized fit over time, with each wear.

The 3376 is built using the No. 105 Last:

  • Based on our original Classic Moc, Red Wing’s most iconic style
  • Our women’s version has been slimmed down just a bit in the width and toe for a true women’s fit

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot if you don't need to add orthotics... Incredibly well-crafted boot and would undoubtedly last for years, but once I put in my custom orthotic, everything just begins to feel tight, even with some monkeying around with the lacing. I tried a men's (same Euro size, but so much longer) which fit pretty well overall except that it was much longer than the women's. And my regular 8.5 fit for length with plenty of toe wriggle room but was too snug with the orthotic in place. The 9 was just too long even though it wasn't tight and I know with years of wear, the rest of the shoe would become too large. Even though I know that these shoes will conform, for the price, just hesitant to be squished and then disappointed if it didn't expand where needed. But the quality is amazing. So well made and love that the women's come with nice boat bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase I first got sized in men boots and I was in between size 7.5 and size 8. In women's that would mean I'm in between size 9 and 9.5. Size 9 in women's fit me a little bit to tight because I have wide feet. So, I went for the size 9.5 and it was the perfect fit for my wide feet and just comfortable to were I can wear thick socks comfortably. The boots are a tiny bit loose in length, but as long as I tie them correctly and tight enough my heel doesn't slip off the boots as I'm walking. It's now been about a solid month with my boots and wear them quite often. Since day 1 I never needed a "breaking in" period. These Moc Toes 3375 are so comfy right from the get go. I even wore them out of the store and went to school all day in them right away! If you're someone with wide feet, consider sizing up. Yes, they will be a bit loose in length, but tie the boots correctly and tight enough and they will mold to your feet so well!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing low profile version of the mens, but oddly narrow. I LOVE these boots so much, first of all. The look of them is great and they seem to be well crafted. I tried on the men's version of these as well, so I'll compare. The sole on the mens is thicker and has less arch support, it also makes them bulkier. The women's version is much narrower than the mens and the toe box is not as wide. I am a true 6.5 and bought a 6.5. The length was perfect, but the width is pretty narrow. I know good quality leather stretches with wear so I wore thick socks and wore them around the house a bit. I finally pulled the trigger and wore them out, as they had stretched nicely, but with the stretch of the leather, now the actual insole doesn't reach the edge of the shoe...so my pinky toes hang off the side. I don't think thats normal so I contacted Red Wing and am waiting for a reply. The women's version is nice because they aren't quite as bulky and the heel is better fitted to a smaller foot. I would have bought the mens but it was too wide in the heel. I don't like that the women's version used a foam insole as opposed to the leather/cork in the original. It makes it seem cheaper, even though it makes them comfier right out of the box. Plus the foam insole can't be removed: its glued to the shoe.... Overall I love them, I'm just hoping the insole width issue can be somehow solved. Adorable, but beware the narrow width. I even have narrow feet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Boot These boots are the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. Right out of the box the fit was very good. My right boot took a couple of wears to be as comfortable as the left. Now they are as comfortable as slippers, well boot slippers. The feel of the leather is great. My boots have no manufacturing flaws at all. The fit is good, I wear an 8. My foot is not wide by size but I like wider shoes in general. I would say these are a standard 8 size. Not too wide. If you have a narrow foot the fit may be off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous boots, sizing a tiny bit weird these run a little long in the footbed, and pretty narrow. I'm usually a 9 and ordered these in an 8.5. I got a nasty blister on the heel of my slightly longer foot the first day, but with a bandaid, these were well-broken in by the fourth wear. Now they feel awesome! Would not recommend for wide feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish my feet weren't so narrow I love love love these boots. They are very well crafted and soft, beautiful leather. I am frustrated because although they are reputed to be narrow, I think they are too wide for my feet. I have the correct size for length, but they must be too wide in the heel as my socks continually fall down into the boots and they are ruining my thick, expensive wool socks, TWO pairs. I have walked about 20 miles in them so far and have gotten a bruise and scab on one ankle. Despite this, I love the way they look and feel, and just wish there was a solution for solving the fit issue and keeping my socks up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Style I'd been looking for a classic hiking boot to wear with jeans and loved the mens moc style but I never pulled the trigger because they were a bit bulky for my narrow feet, and had a very flat sole. I wear an 8.5 with a typical arch. Trying these on for the first time was like wearing little pillows on my feet. They have more arch support than the mens style. I wear them with a thicker camp sock and they are perfect, I did not have to go up a 1/2 size. Very quality boot and I love supporting American made local companies.
