STYLE NO. 1907 : Classic Moc

Modeled after Red Wing’s original work boot style, the 1907 is a 6-Inch Moc Toe featuring Oro Legacy leather, white Traction Tred rubber outsole, Norwegian-like welt, triple stitched quality and leather laces.

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE

We began making moc-toe boots in the 1950s for sportsmen. Farm and factory workers quickly took to the boots for their all-day comfort and lasting durability. The crescent-shaped toe stitching is inspired by the construction of moccasins originally worn by the North American Algonquin Indians. Our Classic Moc Toes have since become a legend.

Oil Tanned leather is a very durable and vivid leather. Oil Tanned leather is a very durable and vivid leather.

Oil-Tanned Leather

S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for oil-tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing’s 108+ year history.

STYLE NO. 1907 : Classic Moc

A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. Over time the full grain leather upper, leather footboard and cork midsole mold to your feet, creating an enduring and customized fit over time with each wear.

The 1907 is built using the No. 45 Last:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From a roofer I have been a roofing contractor for 14 years and these are my first ever boots. I was tired of going through shoes so quickly. The shingles are really hard on shoes, and I’m impressed with how they have held up since wearing them for the past year. I like the fact that I’m not filling land fills with a bunch of shoes anymore. In the end I’m really saving money, wasting less and giving my money to a better company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Break-In Issues Here Before purchasing my first pair of 1907's I couldn't help but read of the frequent stories of these being the toughest break-in of any boot, namely due to the stiffness of the Copper R&T leather. I wanted to report I'm roughly a week in with 10+ hours of wear time each day and I'm having ZERO issues. Sure, I can tell they're not broken in yet, especially in the foot bed, but no pain, no blisters, no rubbing. I've worn medium-thick wool socks and I feel that could attribute ot the no issues. Actually, VERY comfortable right out of the box. The quality on these from top to bottom were SIGNIFICANTLY better than I had even imagined they'd be. I'm a mostly size 11.5 in shoes/boots, but sometimes size 12 (typically Nike) and I went with the 11.5. Good decision on my part as they seem true to fit for me. I'd recommend these to ANYONE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, comfortable and very tough I’ve worn my 1907 for years now. They’ve been used for work, casual walking and on one occasion, hiking. I don’t recommend them for hiking because they get very heavy. Like feet hurt heavy but they did the job. Great work boot that’s for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't wear anything else I bought these at the Roseville, California store on December 21, 2018, and I've been wearing nothing but these boots. It took about one week for the leather around my foot to loosen up, but they're still a little hard around my Achilles. Though it doesn't even matter, because it's bearable. It feels like I'm walking on butter with every step I take, especially when they're tight around my foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You couldn’t purchase a better workbook, it just doesn’t exist. Redwing is my go to, I have been wearing them for years. The crepe sole is my preference. They are as functional as they are visually pleasing. Wouldn’t recommend any other brand, ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice 1 bought the 1907 on Black Friday and could not be any happier,I have several heritage boots from Red Wing and I got these in the same size as my 875 and Ihave to say they seem a tad wider!and that’s a good thing for breaking them in ,very comfortable right out of the box!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My feet don’t hurt after yard work Over 50 and I now have muscles that I never knew I had and foot pain after cutting the grass. With the 1907 work boot and recommended insole to support my high arch, I can work in the yard for longer periods without foot pain. These boots are great and even at the price a solid value to no longer have foot pain. Break in period was very short based on other people’s experiences.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highest Quality Leather Boot You can buy I normally wear a size 12 D. The boot I had to buy is an 11 1/2 Wide. So this boot runs much longer than a regular boot or shoe. This boot also runs pretty narrow. I had to get a "wide" fit and it was still a bit snug at purchase. The boot does loosen, but it takes a while. My advice is to order a 1/2 shorter then your normal size and if you were a "D/Medium" width, order a wide width in this boot. After the fitting process, this will quickly become your favorite boot.
