The 3321 is chukka featuring Hawthorne Muleskinner leather, crafted with our traditional Red Wing Quality, and inspired by our tried-and-true chukka silhouettes.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
The Weekender is an off-the-clock shoe that can stand up to adventure while still keeping things dialed down. The oxford and chukka styles were designed from the ground up to be light and comfortable right out of the box, with or without socks. But light doesn't mean the Weekenders are lightweights. They're made alongside our other boots at Plant 2 in Red Wing, Minnesota, with durable leather sourced from our S.B. Foot Tanning Company and a stitch-down construction that can be resoled for many years of faithful service. Weekenders let you play as hard as you work. You might even be tempted to keep them on come Monday.
Roughout leather is a reverse suede leather made in our S.B. Foot tannery.
Roughout leather is created using a reverse-suede technique at our very own S.B. Foot Tanning Co. While most tanneries split, thin and weaken the hide to create the rough suede surface, we simply use the other side of the hide. By doing so, we avoid splitting or thinning our full-grain hides. This makes our Roughout leather just as strong and durable as our other leathers.

In order to build a Red Wing boot to an exact size and width, the boot is constructed around a shoe last.

Comfortable boots, but like some of the other reviewers state quickly looks soiled and become unwearableDespite taking precautions to treat the boots and clean regularly, they did not stand up. Unwearable after four months. Excessive wear on the toe. Granted they are comfortable, but a waste of money for such short term wear. Definitely avoid the light colour chukkas

Great fitting, comfortable shoe that deteriorates way too quicklyBought mine a little over a year ago, and was instantly in love, as the fit was perfect and has only gotten better with use.
HOWEVER, after only about six months of daily use, the soles started to come loose. I don't know if I received a lemon pair, or if the glue used to adhere the soles is of poor quality. Regardless, this shouldn't happen to a pair of $200 shoes, even if they are the cheapest model in Red Wing's range.
As it stands, I will of course continue wearing this pair until they completely fall apart, as they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I will, however, be hesitant about purchasing a pair of Red Wings in the future, if this is their idea of quality.

Starts fresh, but a shame to wear afterwardsMy wife picked these chukkas for me, and they started off looking really sharp - a fresh tan color that goes well on summer days.
However, after some wearing, I took the chukkas in to get refreshed with some TLC at my local Red Wing shop, and they came out terrible. I'm not sure what they did, but they came out a lot darker, and, after a short period of time, the nap essentially disappeared on the as a dull gloss appeared on the surface. Now, they just look dirty, and I hardly wear them because of the look.
This is unfortunate, I really like the other Red Wing Heritage boots I've bought, and I bought several. I spent considerable money, and took them to the place we're supposed to send them for cleaning & conditioning, and I feel like I wasted a lot of money on these boots. I won't get the longevity that one comes to expect from the RW brand.
I wouldn't buy these again, and if asked, I wouldn't recommend them to folks.

Awsome. RW Shoes are superb.I have in total now 8 pairs of RW. Heritage and Working boots as well. I get greedy from looking at the shoes. Of course there are very ugly ones too but the ones I have are perfect.

A well made, comfortable chukka boot! They would be 5 star if they would have been waterproof.I've only had them for a couple days, but the comfort is great and they are not broke in as of yet. And the quality of Red Wing is second to none. Very happy with my purchase. It is nice to know that quality still matters to some companies.

Worn out look is not good.Boots looked trashed and worn out after a month working in an office. They are comfortable and are well made but this color suede would need constant cleaning.
