STYLE NO. 1907 : Classic Moc

Modeled after Red Wing’s original work boot style, the 1907 is a 6-Inch Moc Toe featuring Oro Legacy leather, white Traction Tred rubber outsole, Norwegian-like welt, triple stitched quality and leather laces.

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE

We began making moc-toe boots in the 1950s for sportsmen. Farm and factory workers quickly took to the boots for their all-day comfort and lasting durability. The crescent-shaped toe stitching is inspired by the construction of moccasins originally worn by the North American Algonquin Indians. Our Classic Moc Toes have since become a legend.

Oil-Tanned leather is a very durable and vivid leather. Oil-Tanned leather is a very durable and vivid leather.

Oil-Tanned Leather

S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for Oil-Tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-Tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing’s 110+ year history.

STYLE NO. 1907 : Classic Moc

A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. Over time the full grain leather upper, leather footboard and cork midsole mold to your feet, creating an enduring and customized fit over time with each wear.

The 1907 is built using the No. 45 Last:

  • Most customers buy Red Wing Heritage footwear 1/2 size smaller than their normal size
  • Trying on Red Wing Heritage footwear in a store is recommended to get the perfect fit
  • Includes a footbed that can be removed to fine-tune your fit

PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highest Quality Leather Boot You can buy I normally wear a size 12 D. The boot I had to buy is an 11 1/2 Wide. So this boot runs much longer than a regular boot or shoe. This boot also runs pretty narrow. I had to get a "wide" fit and it was still a bit snug at purchase. The boot does loosen, but it takes a while. My advice is to order a 1/2 shorter then your normal size and if you were a "D/Medium" width, order a wide width in this boot. After the fitting process, this will quickly become your favorite boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want to buy them all I have to say that red wings are 100% the best boots ever. I am located in MA and we need products like this that can last. Is easy to say that this product has some proud people working and coming with ideas that suit the people that wear them. The materials are great and i walk a lot and believe it they are for sure human/hustles boots. The person that helped me at the store was very helpful so do you part and be as informative as possible and if you had issues on your knees , back, feet let the person know it all. That way you purchase is an improvement to your life style and comfort and a lasting product will carry you around as we bring bread and butter home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally writing one I have had these boots for over five years now, and after purchasing my fifth pair of Red Wings I have decided to review my first. These boots are fantastic. I wear them every day from October through March, and they have held up very well. I wear thicker socks and they do just fine in the cold weather. I used to walk at least three miles in them each day to work, so I just finished my third resole. All in all, an excellent boot. They run slightly large, but I would highly recommend investing in a pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best investment I’ve ever made. My Red Wing boots are the best pair of shoes/boots I’ve ever bought. If your iffy about spending the money on them, don’t be. They will last you for ever. If you take care of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ages like wine I'll be honest. The first week in these boots was not fun. They rubbed pretty bad, and I got blisters, even with super thick wool socks. But not to be outdone by a pair of boots, I covered my blisters in duct tape, and continued with the break in process. After the first week, the boots start to trust you, and become your friend. They started to form to my feet, and not pinch so much. The heel (my main trouble area) finally started to conform to the shape of my foot. Now, after wearing them almost every day for 10 days. They are super comfy. My feet no longer hurt, and I can stand on concrete all day without my feet getting as sore as they did with tennis shoes. These boots are a pain to break in, but the wait is worth it. They are also getting some nice character film daily wear, and they are looking better each day. Thanks to Redwing for making a boot that gets better with age.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality I have owned these boots for less than a year and the sole has begun to separate for the second time. I don't even wear them often, particularly because to get them warrantied you have to return to the store where you purchased them, and for me that is 1500 km away. So the first time the sole fell off I wasn't able to wear them for 5 months. After all the recommendations I am left extremely disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size Red Wing Moc Toe 875 I read most of the comments posted here the indication to buy a number less or half a number less. I believe this comment is valid for those who wear a lot of tennis and not boots. I use a lot of boots and I've always used the number 8.5. When I went to buy the red wing I was afraid to follow this guidance and bought 8.5 same. I even tried out an 875 number 8 and would never use it. Very, very tight. I have 3 Red Wings (875, 8138, 1907) 8.5 which is my numbering and no problem at all. I repeat, if you wear a lot of tennis shoes: the indication of lowering a number or a half number may be helpful. If you wear too many boots, I believe you can use the same numbering.
