The 3321 is chukka featuring Hawthorne Muleskinner leather, crafted with our traditional Red Wing Quality, and inspired by our tried-and-true chukka silhouettes.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
The Weekender is an off-the-clock shoe that can stand up to adventure while still keeping things dialed down. The oxford and chukka styles were designed from the ground up to be light and comfortable right out of the box, with or without socks. But light doesn't mean the Weekenders are lightweights. They're made alongside our other boots at Plant 2 in Red Wing, Minnesota, with durable leather sourced from our S.B. Foot Tanning Company and a stitch-down construction that can be resoled for many years of faithful service. Weekenders let you play as hard as you work. You might even be tempted to keep them on come Monday.
Roughout leather is a reverse suede leather made in our S.B. Foot tannery.
Roughout leather is created using a reverse-suede technique at our very own S.B. Foot Tanning Co. While most tanneries split, thin and weaken the hide to create the rough suede surface, we simply use the other side of the hide. By doing so, we avoid splitting or thinning our full-grain hides. This makes our Roughout leather just as strong and durable as our other leathers.
In order to build a Red Wing boot to an exact size and width, the boot is constructed around a shoe last.
STYLE NO. 3321 : Weekender Chukka
A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes.
The 3321 is built using the No. 60 Last:
This new last is created for the Weekender collection, stitch down construction
The last is designed to have a removable footbed
Most customers buy Red Wing Heritage footwear 1/2 size smaller than their normal size
Trying on Red Wing Heritage footwear in a store is recommended to get the perfect fit
Protect and lengthen the life of your boots with our Made in USA, specialty care products; specifically designed to help maintain the unique qualities of Red Wing leather.

Strong, Comfortable, HipI’d buy another pair but my first ones still look new.
I’ve had a pair for over a year. I wear them regularly and fairly hard. They look pretty much the same as the first week I bought them. They do break in right away with a sort of patina that had me nervous at first, but the patina does not progress and looks hip.
The leather is high quality and the soles are strong. It is a lightweight boot that doesn’t get hot. I like that. For care, I use either a basic saddle soap or the Red Wing ‘natural paste’ for conditioning.
Definitely buy a full size down. As for width, I have a B width but the way this boot is constructed I can tighten to a perfect fit. I did switch out the insole for Supersoles, which is normal for me.

Excellent 1st buyBought a lighter color than I usually would just to change it up, and I don't regret it. A bit more labor intensive with the care, but with the type of leather and lighter color, I was expecting that. My pair were very snug but almost a perfect fit when I bought them and after a few weeks they've broken in well. And if you're willing to spring for the memory foam insoles, you won't regret it. I have pretty severe pronation in my left ankle and it hasn't been an issue with them yet.

Immediate Discoloration of Leather with Copper ColorSimply put, I'm a big fan of Red Wing boots (these would've been my 5th pair) but the leather finish/ color is just not as advertised. As soon as the leather creases in any sort of way it becomes a completely different color. It immediately goes from the nice dark brown/red color (copper) to a light orange. Not like normal break in or wear & tear. It's simply the way the leather is finished. After receiving I simply tried them on for size, and after a short walk around the living room the boots looked completely different. Almost like I'd had them for 2 years. Some might like this (I guess), but I was hoping to have a boot that looks incredible (and somewhat like the picture) for years to come. All joking aside, these just look really bad after only 5 minutes. Redwing really should have some sort of disclaimer with this color way if this is intended, as the expectation for these to hold up like my other boots was seriously not met. See picture for reference. No exaggeration, this is after wearing around the house for ~ 10 minutes. This will be the first pair of Redwings I return.

Amazing boots! These are my first pair of Red Wing shoes and at first I was a little skeptical of paying so much for a pair of shoes, but I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Every time I wear them they get more and more comfortable. I wipe them down with a wet rag with dish soap once a week or so to get the Kansas salt and snow/mud off them and they look even better afterwards. Already looking forward to my next pair of Red Wing shoes.

Nice Clark's upgradeLove this style but it us super narrow. Most red wings are but some other styles offer wide sizing. This needs it! Otherwise a great shoe, though tight.

Awesome light weight RedwingLove them. Go to shoe/boot. Support feet well and fit replacement high arch insoles. Great comfort. Red wing with high arch insoles are the only shoes I’ve found where I get even sole wear instead of outside sole worn to nothing and the inside looks new. Keeps back pain away.

Soles separated from shoe after 5 months!I was prepared for the scruffy look and the break-in period (much shorter than I feared). But I was shocked that the soles separated from the shoes after 5 months of casual wear. And when I took it to the store I bought it, they seemed completely indifferent. One sole was bad enough that she agreed it was unwearable it would need to be reglued. Since the other was only starting to separate, she couldn't promise they'd repair it. So I have to wait three weeks for the shoes to come back to see what they decided, and I might have to wear them again until the other sole completely separates, then come back to the store, then return them and wait another three weeks to get them back again. That's just bizarre customer service.
